Former attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, David Schoen, has taken to Twitter/X to declare Donald Trump innocent of being involved in anything dubious concerning his client, who reportedly 4 took his own life while awaiting trial.

Everywhere you look right now, there’s a lot of commentary from people being pretty self-congratulatory because they “predicted” that the Tesla CEO and the president would have a falling out. But there’s a far more important lesson here, and that lesson is discernment. It’s something we all need — and something we are sadly lacking in today’s culture.

But back to the main story here: David Schoen’s defense of President Trump. The evening of the havoc between Trump and Elon Musk was truly entertaining — the two attacked each other over who lies more and who is more predatory to the American public. Spoiler alert: it’s both. Everyone in the conservative influencer market, and even the manosphere, was quick to pick sides. At one point, Elon Musk even called for the impeachment of Trump. But by far, what took the cake was when he claimed that the truth about Trump and Epstein would soon come out. That’s when Schoen fired off his tweet in defense of Trump, which started with, “I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer nine days before he died.”

Which is fine — if that’s what he said and that’s the truth. It’s veering a bit close to attorney-client privilege, but it’s really nothing Trump’s own Michael Cohen hasn’t done in the past. Where discernment comes in, however, is in looking at who else Schoen has defended in his career. Schoen defended Trump in his second impeachment trial, and when he delivered his closing arguments, CNN reported that he was moved to tears over the man. So, do we really think this is someone who would be neutral about Trump?

Schoen also defended Trump’s special advisor in court over the Jan. 6 insurrection attempt. And considering all the public distrust surrounding all three of his most high-profile clients, there’s not a single credible reason to take his tweet seriously. Like the rest of these guys, the man is motivated by self-interest — he serves the strongest person in the room and will say whatever is needed of him at any given time.

As things stand, whether you believe Elon Musk or not, there’s no publicly accessible information to prove Trump innocent or guilty. These are unverified claims from someone in Trump’s circle who is emotionally invested in the man and wants to keep his place in the inner ring. He may present himself as a neutral, credible source — but he is far from that.

Elon Musk and President Trump’s egos are so huge that it’s like a case of a snake with two heads competing to devour their t tail faster. People were right about the two: they were never going to survive co-existence, because neither can play second fiddle. All we can do now is sit, wait, grab your popcorn, and watch them irreparably destroy their characters.

Anyone else who tries to salvage either of their reputations — first, take a step back and ask what they have to gain, and then decide whether to believe them or not. That’s discernment.

Right now Prince Andrew is clinging to his cushy royal life by the skin of his teeth. But he might not be able to do so for much longer if Prince William has anything to say about it.

The Prince of Wales has apparently always had a “strained and distant relationship” with his uncle. Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that William has a “grudge against his disgraced uncle” which more than likely stems from the damning allegations made against Andrew in the past.

Andrew’s future is “bleak”

Of course, being an enemy of the future King of England is a position nobody wants to be in. Andrew’s already lost so much, but considering the things he stands accused of some would say Charles has been too lenient on him. According to Fordwich, William wants his uncle “to vanish from public view.”

Although it’s much more than that, William is apparently completely against any sort of rehabilitation for Andrew, “William has been a strong voice in managing ‘the Andrew problem’ — he is adamant that there is no way back for his uncle.” Perhaps someone like Andrew is too far past redemption.

Andrew’s position is already greatly diminished within the royal family. He’s been retired from performing royal duties, he wasn’t invited to dinner at Sandringham last Christmas, oh and Charles has been trying to kick him out of the royal lodge. Despite all this he’s managed to cling on.

Prince Andrew is a controversy magnet

This is probably a wise move on William’s part. Andrew has been embroiled in numerous controversies which have brought shame and embarrassment upon the family. His association with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the accusations made by the late Virginia Giuffre caused waves back in 2019. 

Giuffre claimed that she was sex trafficked to Andrew who she claims sexually abused her when she was 17. The Prince denied the claims but his refusal to speak to the FBI made him look guilty in the eyes of the public. He’s even actively avoided going to the states in case he were to be arrested.

Towards the end of last year Andrew embarrassed the royal household again when news of his close association with a supposed Chinese spy became public knowledge. 

The truth is, Andrew isn’t good for the royal family, at least in of popularity. As a matter of fact he’s even less popular than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which is a pretty impressive feat. A recent YouGov poll found that Meghan had a positive score of 20%, meanwhile, Andrew only scored 5% when it came to positive public perception.

During a recent appearance on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Kash Patel, the current FBI Director, and Dan Bongino, Donald Trump‘s current Deputy Director of the FBI, resurrected the chaos, offering their “expert” take on the disgraced financier’s death.

Spoiler alert: They think he died by suicide. And MAGA-world? Not happy. The Trump officials told Maria Bartiromo that after reviewing what they claim to be the whole file, they’ve concluded that the notorious sex offender didn’t die at the hands of some shadowy cabal but rather took his own life in his Manhattan jail cell.

‘I’ve seen the whole file’

“I’ve seen the whole file,” Patel declared, as if dropping a bombshell. Bongino chimed in with his signature bravado, insisting that “the evidence points to suicide.” They both seemed pretty confident, flashing that classic Fox News certainty as if auditioning for a true-crime podcast.

In case you’ve managed to forget the scandal that rocked the world, here’s a quick recap: Prison officials found Epstein, a billionaire financier and convicted sex offender, dead in his jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Officially ruled a suicide, his death sparked a million conspiracy theories faster than you can say “Clinton body count.”

You’d think that when Trump’s guys go on Fox News and declare Epstein’s death a suicide, MAGA diehards would fall in line, right? Wrong.

Epstein had just been denied bail, his reputation was in tatters, and he faced spending the rest of his life in prison. He was also notoriously narcissistic—exactly the kind of guy who’d rather end it all than face public humiliation.

MAGA is now roasting Patel and Bongino, both high-ranking officials with strong opinions, for merely suggesting what the medical examiner concluded years ago. For a faction of the internet that thrives on suspicion, the idea of Epstein dying by suicide just doesn’t cut it.

Patel and Bongino X backlash highlights a bigger issue: MAGA-world’s insatiable appetite for conspiracies. And no amount of logic or evidence will shake a theory loose once it’s embedded. On X, one person wrote, “Imagine taking such glee in someone who has suffered as much as #VirginiaGiuffre.” Another wrote, “I hope Victoria Giuffre rests in peace. For Lady Victoria Hervey to talk such hate is distasteful.”

Yesterday, Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew victim Virginia Giuffre made a shocking post on Instagram explaining that she’d been in a serious road accident, that she was in hospital, that her kidneys had failed, and that doctors had given her just four days to live.

The initial response was, understandably, sympathy and sadness. But very quickly, questions began to be raised about apparent inconsistencies in her story and the image. As of writing, one of the top responses is from a self-described ICU nurse who argues that if her story were true, she’d be on dialysis rather than dying.

Another points out that it doesn’t make sense for Giuffre to be in a hospital bed posting an update on her impending death while still dressed in her personal clothes and wearing all her jewelry, though others theorize this could have been taken soon after her ission to the ER.

Now there’s another bizarre twist, as The Daily Mirror reports that the Western Australia Police Force has corroborated Giuffre’s story of a collision between a bus and car, though it doesn’t sound remotely as serious as her Instagram post claims. Giuffre says the bus was driving “110km” an hour when it hit her car, though the cops say:

“The Western Australia Police Force received a report of a minor crash which occurred between a bus and a car in Neergabby on 24 March just after 3pm. The collision was reported by the bus driver the following day. The car sustained approximately $2000 (£967) worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.”

For the moment I guess we’re just going to have to take Giuffre at her word. After all, if she publicly claims she’s days away from dying, with her lawyer confirming she’s in “a very bad situation” then who are we to doubt her?

However, many on social media haven’t been quite as kind and have concluded that, for some strange reason, she’s either greatly exaggerating or outright lying about her condition. Some have pointed out she’s recently become estranged from her husband and children, theorizing this may be part of a mental health episode:

Right now we simply don’t know what’s going on though if, as she claims, doctors are sure she’ll be dead in four days, we’ll find out the truth fairly soon. On one hand, we don’t want to doubt Giuffre as why would you make something like this up? But the inconsistencies in her story seem to be mounting, so fingers crossed we learn the truth very soon. Either way, here’s hoping she’s not at death’s door.

Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her when she was underage, has shared a shocking update with her followers as she reveals she has mere days to live after being involved in a car accident.

In a post to Instagram, which we won’t show here due to its graphic nature, the 41-year-old can be seen lying in a hospital bed with her face covered in bruises — if you want to view the post for yourself you can see it here. In the caption she explains that a school bus driver had collided with her car at 110km, she wrote: “no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.” 

Virginia Giuffre claims she’s ready to go

Giuffre went on to inform her followers that she had gone into kidney renal failure, presumably as a result of the crash. While she says she is being transferred to a specialist hospital in urology, the outlook is not looking great for her. Towards the end of her post she states that she is “ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time.” Giuffre has three children.

Her father, Sky Roberts, commented on the post, “I love you and praying for you to get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life.” Others shared their concern for Giuffre while some were a little skeptical of her claim. One person wrote, “My father is a Dr and he said this is highly unusual a patient in a car accident given exactly 4 days to live, strange.”

What are Virginia Giuffre’s chances of survival?

While we don’t have any way of knowing the severity of Giuffre’s condition, kidney renal failure is a serious matter. According to Clevelandclinic.org, renal failure means one or both of the kidneys aren’t working, meaning the body isn’t filtering waste as it should. If untreated this would lead to a build up of toxins in the body and ultimately death.

There is no cure for kidney failure, it can only be treated, either through medication, dialysis, or a kidney transplant. However, in most cases, patients are able to live a long and healthy life as long as they get the correct treatment. Again, we don’t know Giuffre’s specific situation, so this may not be entirely applicable to her, we can only hope that she is able to receive the proper care from her doctors.

Giuffre entered the public eye in 2010, when she first came forward with her experiences of sexual abuse and trafficking. She made allegations against Prince Andrew and Epstein. Andrew strongly denied the claims made against him, although he has also allegedly refused to speak with the FBI regarding the matter before — he’s also not left the U.K. in years for fear of being arrested.

In 2022, Andrew paid an unspecified amount to Giuffre in order to settle the claims.

Yesterday, Attorney General Pam Bondi suggested to Fox News that we could see a full release of a “lot of flight logs, a lot of names, [and] a lot of information” pertaining to deceased socialite-pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and what’s expected to be a long, disturbing, and revelatory list of associates.

And perhaps this is nothing more than a case of especially poor timing, but with the discovery of legendary actor Gene Hackman‘s body yesterday (per the Associated Press, the 95-year-old French Connection star was found dead in his home on Wednesday along with his wife, 63-year-old Betsy Arakawa, and one of their three pet dogs, the other two of whom were found alive), some are wondering if any ties between Hackman and Epstein were ever discovered.

Was Gene Hackman on Epstein’s list?

No, Gene Hackman has never been reported as an associate of Jeffrey Epstein, per the release of court records in January 2024. Per The Independent, those records named such public figures as Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, the latter of whom directed Bondi to review the list and information, per CTV News. Bondi, a Republican, was named as Attorney General on Feb. 4.

Major Hollywood figures that were named in the court records include Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Spacey, George Lucas, Cate Blanchett, Bruce Willis, Cameron Diaz, and Chris Tucker.

It’s worth noting that being named in this list does not directly imply that the person knowingly collaborated with Epstein in his nauseating crimes. The list includes such people, but it also includes those who have accused Epstein of those very crimes, the victims of those crimes, and unintentional, happenstance connections with Epstein, who worked as a financier and had an affluent social circle.

Accs of Epstein include John Connelly, a former detective and investigative journalist who was investigating Epstein, and Vicky Ward, an investigative journalist who allegedly faced barriers from Vanity Fair when she sought to cover the Epstein case.

Per NPR, Epstein allegedly operated an underage sex-trafficking ring out of Florida and New York, which lasted approximately a decade after it began in 1994. He was first investigated around 2005, but was never prosecuted on a federal level, and served just 18 months before his release in 2009, after which he was required to as a sex offender.

Ten years later, in 2019, he was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges following an exposé by the Miami Herald. He famously ed away while in prison from an alleged suicide.

How did Gene Hackman die?

At the time of writing, a cause of death has not been released, and while reports initially said the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department didn’t suspect foul play, TMZ later reported that a search warrant from one of the Santa Fe detectives labeled the deaths of Hackman, his wife, and their pet dog as “suspicious.”

Nevertheless, the circumstances are unusual. Hackman and Arakawa were found dead in different rooms, while prescription medications were found scattered on a countertop near Arakawa. The house’s gas lines were also checked for the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning, but no problems have been found. Most pertinently, Arakawa’s body displayed signs of mummification in her hands and feet. Mummification — wherein dead tissue hardens and shrinks from what’s often dehydration — of the entire body can take several weeks to a year.
