If you’ve been part of the BTS ARMY for a while, you probably know about the unofficial eighth member Yeontan, Taehyung’s adorable teacup Pomeranian.

From social media appearances to cameos in BTS live streams, Yeontan, lovingly called “Tannie” by fans, has become an icon in his own right. But when did Taehyung first welcome Yeontan into his life? Let’s dive into the story of V’s furry best friend.

When did Yeontan BTS?

Taehyung, also known as V, became a dog dad in 2017. Yeontan was born on Sept. 7, 2017, and shortly after, V decided to adopt the tiny black-and-tan Pomeranian. Fans got their first glimpse of Yeontan during a livestream on Dec. 4, 2017, which also happened to be a celebration of Jin’s birthday. In that unforgettable moment, Taehyung introduced Yeontan to ARMY and it was love at first sight for everyone watching. From the beginning, Yeontan wasn’t just any ordinary pet—he was a part of the BTS family.

Tannie made frequent appearances in BTS’s live streams, behind-the-scenes videos, and even in official content like photoshoots. Fans quickly noticed how close Yeontan was to all the , not just Taehyung. It was heartwarming to see the little Pomeranian showered with love by the entire group. Yeontan’s presence in Taehyung’s life went beyond companionship. In 2023, Tannie even served as the inspiration for the cover art of V’s solo album, Layover, and was featured throughout the physical CD design. This heartfelt tribute showed just how much Yeontan meant to Taehyung—not just as a pet, but as family.

Yeontan’s health problems

However, behind Yeontan’s cute and charming personality, he faced significant health challenges. In an emotional interview with GQ Australia in 2022, Taehyung revealed how much Yeontan had endured over the years. He shared that Yeontan had struggled with health issues since birth, particularly with his breathing due to his small airways. These challenges led to two surgeries, but sadly, neither was successful. Despite this, Yeontan remained strong, relying on medication to manage his condition. Taehyung expressed immense gratitude to Yeontan for enduring so much pain, saying, “I hope we can create a lifetime of happy memories together.”

For those wondering why Yeontan didn’t always live with Taehyung, it was a practical decision. With BTS’s hectic schedule of tours and promotions, Taehyung chose to let Yeontan stay with his parents, ensuring the little dog received the care and attention he deserved. Even though they couldn’t always be together, it was clear that the bond between Taehyung and Yeontan was unbreakable. Sadly, on Dec. 2, 2024, Taehyung shared the heartbreaking news that Yeontan had ed away.

In a deeply emotional Instagram post, he described Yeontan’s ing as a “long journey to the stars” and thanked ARMY for loving Tannie as much as he did.

To be honest, the reason why I’m posting this is because Yeontan recently left for a long journey to the stars. I worried about how to tell you this, but seeing as ARMY loved Yeontan so much up to now, I thought it was right for me to tell you, and that is how I ended up conveying the news like this.

Taehyung’s journey with Yeontan is one filled with unforgettable memories, and although Yeontan may be gone, he will remain unforgettable in the ARMY’s hearts.

How old was Yeontan, BTS V’s dog? https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/how-old-was-yeontan-bts-vs-dog/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/how-old-was-yeontan-bts-vs-dog/#respond Tue, 03 Dec 2024 03:56:41 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1803362 The hardest part about having a pet is saying goodbye. ]]>

Parasocial relationships are quite the phenomenon. One moment, we’re just discovering a band’s music or watching an actor’s film, and the next, we somehow know all their pet’s names and even which toy is their favorite to chew on.

And let’s be honest — everyone’s guilty of having some form of a parasocial relationship, whether it’s with athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, singers like Taylor Swift, or really anyone else in the celebrity realm. That’s why it hits us hard and deep in our hearts when a pet we’ve grown attached to through our screens es away.

Sadly, this is exactly what happened to ARMY, the devoted fanbase of BTS, when news of Yeontan’s ing broke. The heartbreaking announcement came via V’s Instagram, where he shared a touching tribute to his companion — who, surprisingly, wasn’t that old.

At the time of his ing, Yeontan was eight years old. The heartbreaking news was shared by BTS’s V, who posted a touching Instagram story after sharing several clips of Yeontan performing tricks. “Recently, Yeontan (my dog) embarked on a long journey to the stars,” the message read. “I thought a lot about how to share this news with you, but I felt it was right to let ARMYs — who have sent so much love to Yeontan — know, so I’m sharing this news now.”

He continued, “I believe Yeontan would feel happy if ARMYs also him fondly as he sets off on this journey.” The message concluded with V bidding farewell to fans — and perhaps, in his own way, to Yeontan — or Tannie for short — as well. Currently, V is serving in South Korea’s mandatory military conscription, with about six months remaining until he completes his service. Despite his busy schedule, he chose to share this deeply personal news in recognition of how much fans cared for his beloved pup.

ARMY first met Yeontan on December 4, 2017, during a VLive stream celebrating Kim Seokjin’s birthday. At just two months old, the tiny Pomeranian quickly stole hearts. Over the years, BTS fans have had the joy of seeing Yeontan on countless occasions — whether in livestreams, photos, or even on stage in one famous moment. Whenever V could, it seemed almost certain he would bring along little Tannie, as fans affectionately nicknamed him.

Although V — known offstage as Kim Tae-hyung — often spent time with Yeontan, his busy schedule meant the pup primarily stayed with his parents. Despite the physical distance, their bond remained unbreakable. The singer frequently shared photos and clips of Yeontan, and fans often saw him featured in Bangtan Bombs, the behind-the-scenes videos filmed by the BTS crew. Yeontan’s influence even extended to V’s artistic projects — to the point where an album concept was dedicated to him, though the cover featured a Yeontan look-alike during a photo shoot in Spain.

As for the cause of Yeontan’s ing, V didn’t disclose specifics in his message. However, it was known that Yeontan had been battling severe heart issues for years, and had endured two unsuccessful surgeries. Pomeranians are prone to congenital health problems, including heart murmurs and congestive heart failure, and sadly, Tannie was no exception. While his loss is deeply felt, we can be certain that Tannie will continue watching over his favorite human from the stars.

‘Y’all making me mad’: Jungkook fans have been left seething as the lookalike contest fad hits a new low https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/yall-making-me-mad-jungkook-fans-have-been-left-seething-as-the-lookalike-contest-fad-hits-a-new-low/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/yall-making-me-mad-jungkook-fans-have-been-left-seething-as-the-lookalike-contest-fad-hits-a-new-low/#respond Wed, 27 Nov 2024 00:26:44 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1800210 Mom: “We have Jungkook at home."]]>

Look-alike contests are still, apparently, a thing — and a really fun one at that. They’re a wholesome way for people to enjoy some lighthearted fun while trying to find the best stand-in for their favorite celebrities. But, as with anything, it’s all fun and games until the wrong doppelgänger is chosen.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened with BTS’s Jungkook. Three unlucky winners ended up facing the wrath of ARMY after the youngest BTS member’s features weren’t exactly… well, done justice. The contest took place on November 23, and as soon as the winners were announced and their photos shared on social media, it didn’t take long for fans to agree: no, these just weren’t it.

While the men in question aren’t unattractive by any means, calling them Jungkook look-alikes (Jungkook-alikes?) is… a bit of a stretch, to put it mildly. And as we all know, if there’s one group you don’t want to upset online, it’s BTS fans. ARMY took to X to voice their frustrations, with many humorous but genuine remarks. “Are the look-alikes in the room with us">

Adding fuel to the fire, many fans suggested that the real winner should have been Hirai Saya, the wife of South Korean actor Shim Hyung-tak. Often dubbed the “female version of Jungkook,” she seemed like the perfect choice, but unfortunately, Saya wasn’t anywhere near the event, leaving ARMY once again, very disappointed.

‘I thought we all knew this?’: BTS fans set the record straight regarding those comeback postponement reports https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/music/i-thought-we-all-knew-this-bts-fans-set-the-record-straight-regarding-those-comeback-postponement-reports/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/music/i-thought-we-all-knew-this-bts-fans-set-the-record-straight-regarding-those-comeback-postponement-reports/#respond Wed, 06 Nov 2024 19:22:14 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1784563 One thing's for sure: it will be worth the wait.]]>

South Korean media has wrongfully reported that BTS postponed their comeback from 2025 to 2026, the band’s fanbase says. The misleading news emerged after a HYBE earnings call where CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Lee Kyung Joon revealed that the septet is planning to restart group activities the year after next.

“We are discussing activities for 2026 with BTS ,” Lee stated, explaining that the label, which became a global player in the music industry thanks to the success of the Grammy-nominated boy band, would no longer be as dependent on BTS-related sales moving forward “due to the growth of other artists,” per No Cut News.

The BTS Army is now setting the record straight regarding the part of the reports that inaccurately stated that RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook had previously agreed to have their group “comeback” (a term used in the K-Pop world to describe putting out new music) next year.

“I genuinely thought everyone understood what they meant by ‘BTS full group in 2025′ is that they’re all reunited & working as a team but not LITERALLY coming back with a brand new album,” one fan explained. “I thought we all knew this? The only thing I was waiting for was the HYYH [acronym for BTS’ 2015 album series titled Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life in English] anniversary project which we don’t even know if it’s music related,” another added.

What we actually know, at this point, about BTS’ future group activities

BTS in a photoshoot on the Weverse app
via Weverse

Shortly before the last five of BTS were scheduled to begin their military service, in September 2023, the group’s leader, RM, made sure to let fans know the group had big plans for the future. As reports emerged that all seven had renewed their contracts with BigHit Music for a second time, nearly three years ahead of their expiration date, the rapper took to his social media to confirm the news with a photo of the binding document reading “Pop culture artist exclusive contract.”

This development ensures BTS’ longevity until, at least, 2030 — a welcome reassurance given the ’ forced 18-month departure from public life to carry out South Korea’s mandatory military service. Jin and j-hope, the first to enlist, were also the first to return, with the former in the process of releasing his first solo album, Happy. Left are RM, SUGA, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, all of whom will be discharged in June of 2025. That would have given them just six months to work on and release new music, so a 2025 “comeback” was never realistic, the fans pointed out.

“It will take time and preparations for them to comeback as BTS. And guess what, they’re seven human beings…. Have you heard the word rest?,” one Army remarked. “If anyone expected them to produce and promote a whole album in the span of 6 months (bc they write and produce their own songs btw), right after they got out of forced conscription, ur nothing but a heartless consumer btw,” another emphasized.

As previously mentioned, however, one group project is expected in 2025. The band’s seminal 2015 double album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, their first stratospheric success in their home country and ticket towards worldwide fame, turns 10 next year. HYBE founder and chairman Bang Si Hyuk confirmed in late 2023 that there would be a celebratory “10th-anniversary album and event” to mark the occasion. This may very well become BTS’ first outing as a septet since 2023, but it will not count as a “comeback” with new music or concerts — for that, fans will wait, in a mix of patience and anticipation, for those who wait 18 months can surely make it a little longer out of respect for the artists’ health, integrity, and creative process. So, ’till 2026!

Turns out, one BTS member nearly made a Super Bowl debut, and here’s why we’re glad he Diddy-n’t https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/turns-out-one-bts-member-nearly-made-a-super-bowl-debut-and-heres-why-were-glad-he-diddy-nt/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/turns-out-one-bts-member-nearly-made-a-super-bowl-debut-and-heres-why-were-glad-he-diddy-nt/#respond Tue, 08 Oct 2024 21:26:49 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1765390 Let's keep BTS away from the American music landscape for now, thank you very much. ]]>

At this point, everyone and their mothers know that BTS is in the military — at least, mine certainly does, given the amount of whining she has to hear from me. After all, it’s been two and a half years since the first member was conscripted, and we still have one more year to go.

In the meantime, we’ve been gifted new albums, shows, and almost everything you can think of, to help us not feel so alone. We’ve even had collaborations like RM with Megan Thee Stallion or J-Hope with J. Cole. But perhaps one of the most contentious collaborations in BTS history came from the golden maknae himself, Jeon Jungkook, when he teamed up with Usher for a remix of “Standing Next to You.”

While Golden was a worldwide success, immediately topping global charts upon its release, HYBE’s decision to collaborate with Usher raised some eyebrows. Truth be told, it was a smart business move — Usher has long been in the spotlight, he’s incredibly talented, and he was about to headline the Super Bowl. In fact, Jungkook nearly ed Usher on the Super Bowl stage as well, but of course, due to the mandatory service, he was forced to decline.

This would have made Jungkook not only the first BTS member to perform at the Super Bowl but also the first Korean singer to appear at the most-watched event in America. Reactions from fans, however, were… mixed, to say the least. “Don’t talk to me right now, I’m literally inconsolable,” one fan lamented. “We were so robbed,” echoed dozens of others.

Sure, some fans loved the collaboration, thrilled that Jungkook was gaining more exposure in the U.S. and “inconsolable” that he wasn’t included in the halftime show. However, others were clearly uncomfortable with yet another artist seemingly trying to profit from BTS’s global success — while reaping the benefits. Of course, we won’t name anyone, but… Jason Derulo comes to mind. Anyway.

Unfortunately, it seems that fans in the latter camp were right to be wary of this collaboration, though perhaps not for the reasons they originally thought. While performing at the Super Bowl would undoubtedly have been a massive career move for Jungkook, it wouldn’t be as ethically sound as we were led to believe. For starters, ARMY has been hyper-aware of Usher’s controversial past, especially his for Israel.

In 2014, Usher posted a now-deleted Instagram photo with the caption “#IStandWithIsrael.” Nine years later, following the events of October 7, Usher once again voiced his for Israel, only to quickly delete the post. He has never retracted his endorsement of the state, despite having been rather quick to show his for Israel not once, but twice.

More recently, Usher’s reputation has been even more tainted by his alleged ties to none other than P. Diddy. While the full extent of Usher and Diddy’s relationship remains in the dark, it’s well-known that Usher considered Diddy a mentor, even attending the infamous “Puffy Flavor Camp” for industry guidance. To be fair, he was 13 years old and should likely not have been at the camp in the first place.

Whether Usher ended up as a victim or remains an apologist for Diddy’s alleged crimes is not yet known. But one thing is clear: ARMY is not letting this go. The news that Jungkook didn’t get to associate himself with Usher even further was only seen as a positive thing all around, and we’re inclined to agree for a plethora of reasons, but deleting seven thousand tweets after Diddy was arrested is right at the top of our heads.

Would Jungkook make a phenomenal halftime guest? Absolutely — BTS has some of the best stage presence the music world has ever seen, after all. At the same time, just two years ago, Jungkook headlined the actual biggest sports event in the world: the World Cup. Sorry, Americans, but the Super Bowl isn’t nearly as popular outside the U.S. as you might have been led to believe. So, all things considered, all’s well that ends well.

Fans of BTS’ Jungkook have plenty to look forward to with the release of his solo documentary JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL. The docu-film gives a glimpse into the K-pop star’s solo journey, chronicling his experiences leading up to the release of his debut album Golden

What to expect from the JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL docu-film

JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL is the first official documentary focusing on BTS member Jungkook. The film delves into the star’s solo career, beginning with his debut single “Seven (feat. This documentary also showcases behind-the-scenes footage of Jungkook’s creative process, the challenges he faced as a global superstar, and exclusive interviews. Fans will be able to see electrifying concert performances and never-before-seen footage, along with personal moments of reflection. JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL is produced by Jiwon Yoon, and is set for a limited release on Sept. 18, 2024, in over 120 countries. The movie trailer, released by Bighit Entertainment and Bangtan TV in August, opens with Jungkook looking out over the concert venue.

“I’m suddenly nervous,” he says. “I’ll do my best, guys. Without the strength of BTS, can I earn recognition on my own?” Needless to say, fans should expect something spectacular. JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL is directed by Junsoo Park, who is known for his work on many BTS-related films, which means the film is in safe hands.

Where to buy the JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL collectible popcorn bucket

The collectible popcorn bucket for JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL will be available at select Cinemark and Regal theaters. It features a collage of images of Jungkook, and fans can also purchase a matching plastic tumbler with a lid and straw. ‘Artists are not guilty’: What is the NewJeans controversy and why did it bother BTS? https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/music/artists-are-not-guilty-what-is-the-newjeans-controversy-and-why-did-it-bother-bts/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/music/artists-are-not-guilty-what-is-the-newjeans-controversy-and-why-did-it-bother-bts/#respond Tue, 17 Sep 2024 08:27:10 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1754521 NewJeans needs our Attention, ASAP. ]]>

Debuting in 2022, NewJeans quickly became one of the most recognized girl groups in the K-Pop industry. Thanks in part to their music, which blends 90s and early 2000s dance styles like U.K. garage and Jersey club with infectious pop melodies, the girls have achieved a level of success most K-Pop groups only dream of

The NewJeans would be enjoying the well-earned fruits of their labor if not for their being caught in the midst of an all-out battle between the CEO of their label, ADOR, and their parent company, HYBE. The conflict became public in April and inspired varying opinions, with some believing ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin is simply a well-meaning creative overworked by her corporate overlords and others believing her to be an entitled executive who prioritized greed over the well-being of her employees.

Adding fuel to the fire, NewJeans ed a (now-deleted) livestream to YouTube on Sept. 11 stating they are firmly on Min’s side. K-Pop’s had its share of controversy but it’s hard to stress how unprecedented idols speaking out like this is. If you’re out of the loop, here’s what you need to know…. including how one BTS member is involved.

A timeline of the ADOR-HYBE conflict

The conflict first became public on April 22 when HYBE revealed it had launched an audit of ADOR over allegations Min was trying to persuade outside investors to get HYBE to sell off its ADOR shares, thus making ADOR independent. HYBE confirmed it was also asking for Min’s immediate resignation as CEO.

Beginning the same day, Min released several statements, denying HYBE’s allegations against her and accusing fellow HYBE sub-label BELIFT LAB of plagiarizing NewJeans with the debut of its girl group ILLIT. According to Min, ADOR attempted to address these issues through the proper channels, but HYBE’s only response was the audit and threat of her dismissal.

Things continued to escalate quickly when HYBE released a statement alleging it found evidence of Min attempting to take full control of ADOR through its audit and would consequently report her to the police. Min then held the first of several press conferences, where she tearfully refuted HYBE’s claims and claimed HYBE was retaliating against her for her plagiarism claims. During this time, both sides released text message conversations as evidence and HYBE also accused Min of making company decisions based on the advice of a shaman (you can read about that here and here).

The saga died down for a while — the two sides continued to issue denials while letting the legal process do its thing — until May 22 when BELIFT LAB, ILLIT’s label, filed a lawsuit against Min for defamation (the label would file a second lawsuit in June while Source Music, Le Sserafim’s label, would file its own defamation lawsuit in July). On Aug. 27, news broke that Min would step down as ADOR’s CEO and Kim Joo-young would take on the role.

What does that have to do with NewJeans?

Min was heavily involved in the formation of NewJeans and its creative direction, and is reported as having a close relationship with the themselves. Throughout the corporate battle, NewJeans has maintained for Min, reportedly reaching out to her with concern when news broke she had made mean comments about the ’ appearances. The relationship between Min and the NewJeans has been both complimented and criticized by fans, as some view it as wholesome and others as inappropriate.

While the have thanked Min during concerts, they made their first official statement with their Sep. 11 live broadcast. During the now-deleted broadcast (which has been reed by fans), the NewJeans called for Min’s reinstatement as CEO by Sept. 25. “CEO Min Hee-jin is not only the person that produces our music, but someone who makes NewJeans who we are,” Danielle said during the livestream. “She is integral to NewJeans’ identity, and we all feel that she is irreplaceable.” The went on to say they’re being ostracized at work, with Hanni saying the manager of another HYBE subsidiary group told a member to ignore her. After speaking with the new ADOR CEO, Hanni felt she dismissed her concerns. The stated they feel the new management doesn’t have their best interests at heart and reaffirmed their plea for Min’s return.

HYBE’s CEO Lee Jee-sang brushed off NewJeans’ demands, stating the company will “uphold [its] principles.” BTS’ Jungkook then seemingly expressed his for NewJeans via his dog’s Instagram — you can’t make this stuff up — on Sep. 13. The hearts in the first post’s caption are in the order of NewJeans’ official colors and if that wasn’t enough of a hint at the posts’ intent, Big Hit Music released a statement confirming Jungkook made the posts “because he thought that under no circumstances should young artists be dragged into conflicts or used as a shield.”

It’s unclear what’s next for NewJeans but we’ll continue to update this situation as it develops.

When Jin left us in 2022, it felt like it would be an eternity until we got to see him again. Now that he’s back, he’s making every second count and is getting ready to make his Netflix debut in what will become the biggest solo TV appearance of his career.

Fans have been waiting for Jin to tap into his acting degree and make the transition into fiction for a long time now, so when rumors emerged that he was working with Netflix, the buzz was immediate. The reality might look a little different, but we’re sure fans weren’t left too heartbroken over the news since it still means they will see their favorite idol lead a production from the world’s biggest streaming platform.

“The amount of Seokjin variety show appearances we’ve had in these 2 months compared to his appearances in 10 years… yeah. I love Seokjin solo era,” one satisfied er tweeted. “We have begged so much and waited months while Seokjin served his military service. Now is the time to celebrate all that he is getting and will continue to get for working hard,” another added.

BTS Jin’s new Netflix show, explained

As it turns out, Jin is going to be one of the main stars of a new Netflix Korean variety show titled Kian’s Bizarre B&B. The series will follow South Korean YouTuber Kian84 as he opens a guesthouse for young people on the paradisiac Korean island of Ulleungdo.

Jin will actress Ji Ye-eun, from the Korean version of Saturday Night Live, as servers at the “bizarre” Bed & Breakfast. With Jin a natural comedian, Netflix promises Kian’s Bizarre B&B will provide plenty of laughs, as well as a “special sense of connection [to viewers] through the trio and guests’ unique blend of healing and chaotic moments during their stay.”

Although he has featured in multiple variety shows over the years, especially since returning from his mandatory military service in June, this will be Jin’s first time headlining a series of this kind throughout its entire run. His bandmate V also participated in a similar concept before enlisting when he became a cook and waiter on the Prime Video show Jinny’s Kitchen.

Jin is also currently conducting a solo version of BTS’ free-access variety show RUN! where he’s climbed mountains, worked at a PC café, and visited his old high school so far in weekly episodes released on YouTube and Weverse every Tuesday, and he’s reportedly working on his debut solo album. What’s the story behind BTS member Suga’s drunk driving accident? https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/bts-member-sugas-drunk-driving-accident-explained/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/bts-member-sugas-drunk-driving-accident-explained/#respond Wed, 14 Aug 2024 18:51:00 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1736173 "This is entirely my responsibility with no excuses."]]>

BTS member Suga — AKA Min Yoongi — has found himself in some hot water, receiving a fine after drunk driving a scooter on Tuesday, Aug. 6 in his hometown of Seoul, South Korea.

BTS’ label, Big Hit, first broke the news on Wednesday, Aug. 7, apologizing to BTS fans all across the globe on Suga’s behalf. “We apologize for the disappointment caused by our artist’s inappropriate behaviour. As a public service worker, he will receive appropriate disciplinary action from his workplace for causing public disturbance. We will take greater care to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Thank you,” the label wrote.

Mere hours later, the K-pop star spoke out about the situation, itting that he is “very heavy-hearted and sorry” for his careless mistake. Taking to Weverse the day after the incident, Suga shared with his ers, “I was given a breathalyzer test and subsequently had my license revoked and was fined… Although no one was harmed and no property was damaged, this is entirely my responsibility with no excuses.”

He continued to take ability, telling BTS fans all across the world, “I apologize to those who have been hurt by my carelessness and wrongful behaviour, and I will ensure that this does not happen again in the future.”

As for what the incident actually entailed, according to Reuters, Suga drunk drove the scooter for 1,640 feet before a police officer saw him fall off of the vehicle, right outside of his home. Approaching the D-DAY artist after his apparent injury, the police officer found Suga’s blood alcohol to be 0.08%, ultimately violating the Road Traffic Act and receiving a fine. In South Korea, citizens are required to have a license to drive electric vehicles.

What happened to SUGA’s CCTV video?

On top of this already overblown situation, SUGA’s alleged DUI incident was further escalated by the sharing of fake CCTV footage by several K-media outlets, including JTBC and Yonhap News, two major news sources in South Korea. These false reports spread across the country, further tarnishing the rapper’s reputation amidst an already exaggerated and sensationalized situation.

The real CCTV footage of SUGA’s fall was later shared by TV Chosun, showing the singer driving the scooter on the sidewalk. Contrary to several reports, he was not exceeding the speed limit for such vehicles. The video also captures the fall, showing his wheel getting stuck, causing SUGA to lose balance and fall with the scooter.

Several fans have since shared that a number of South Korean media outlets have previously reported false information about the group, including JTBC — the first to report the fake CCTV footage. In 2019, this K-media outlet allegedly claimed that BTS were considering taking legal action against their agency, Big Hit Entertainment, over profit division issues. That allegation was later proven false, stemming from unethical news sourcing, including tresing.

Big Hit, BTS’ agency, later demanded a public apology from the news channel, which they provided. In their live television apology, the outlet acknowledged filming without permission, but did not apologize for tresing, violating the premises, or for infringing on BTS’ privacy. Many fans believe this controversy was carelessly generated, possibly with an agenda for defamation.

Neither BTS, BigHit Entertainment, nor SUGA himself have addressed the issue of the fake reports and the false CCTV footage. With the singer currently undergoing compulsory military service, his activities and content as a celebrity are limited due to regulations that prevent him from profiting from any work outside of his public service. Hopefully, the singer will seek justice and soon put this situation behind him.

BTS truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Even as the boys enter their last year in the military — with Jin already out to handle all of ARMY’s shenanigans — we keep getting floored with content and gifts. From albums to singles to MVs… we’re spoiled ARMY. So much so, that we’re even getting the Jimin and Jungkook traveling show, Are You Sure?! this summer.

For some time now, ARMY already knew a Jimin and Jungkook series would be on the way. We also knew it would be a traveling reality show, where two of the group’s ‘maknaes’ would be traveling across cities and countries and just doing… something. After the teaser dropped, though, the hype was back up and fans were immediately filled with excitement. Turns out, Jungkook and Jimin’s trip to Tokyo back in 2017 was only a glimpse of what we would actually get. Now that HYBE has already announced some details, here’s everything we know so far about Are You Sure?!.

When is BTS’ Are You Sure?! coming out?

The new BTS eight-part reality series is dropping on August 8 on Disney Plus. It is part of Disney’s partnership with BTS’ parent company, HYBE, and it will be ing the three series and documentaries the group has released over the past few years on the streaming platform. It will be the first Jimin and Jungkook-focused series, which fans know has been a long time coming.

The duo had been dropping hints over time with images of them in vacation spots, but it wasn’t until Jungkook’s final reveal dropped that fans finally got the full picture. It was in Suchwita, a variety web series led by BTS’ SUGA, that Jungkook itted it was Jimin who came up with the idea of doing a traveling show with his younger peer — as they’d done in the past, albeit unofficially.

Jungkook thankfully agreed, and here we are today: with an official release date for the series that we now know to be called Are You Sure?!, a teaser, and lots, and I mean lots of anticipation. Surely, fans who lived through Jungkook’s G.C.F. craze will be feeling bouts of nostalgia on August 8, when the first two episodes finally drop.

BTS: Do we know Jimin’s military discharge date? https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/bts-do-we-know-jimins-military-discharge-date/ https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/celebrities/bts-do-we-know-jimins-military-discharge-date/#respond Mon, 01 Jul 2024 13:40:40 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.crackfree.org/?p=1717149 He's coming back home! Eventually! In the near future!]]>

There will come a day in every ARMY’s life when we’ will be’ll celebrate the return of our BTS bias. Jin has already come home, returning to our side at last — hypothetically speaking, of course. His discharge is just the beginning though, because soon enough, we’ll get our Jimin back as well.

Sadly, he will be one of the very last to return from military conscription, as he was also one of the last to enlist in his mandatory service. He entered the military at the same time as the group’s youngest member, Jungkook, and they’ll both be returning in 2025, alongside RM, SUGA, and V. The exact date for his discharge, though, is harder to predict, but here’s what we know so far.

When is Jimin getting discharged from the military?

Jimin is expected to be discharged on June 11, 2025. The third youngest BTS member enlisted on December 11, 2023, along with Jungkook, while V and RM enlisted on December 10. South Korean military conscription lasts around 18 months, depending on the branch of service, and Jimin, who is enlisted in the military, is expected to fulfill all 18 months of service.

Unlike the rest of the , SUGA will be enlisted for a longer period. The second oldest member will serve for 21 months — nearly two full years — as a social service agent, which is an alternative to normal military conscription. Despite having to serve for three months longer than his peers, SUGA enlisted months before the rest of the to ensure that by June 2025, all would be back by ARMY’s side.

While we have to wait a bit longer to see Jimin and all the other other than Jin, we can rest assured that they’ll still have plenty of content for us in the meantime. After all, Jimin just released his new single “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band,” and on July 19, we’ll be getting a whole new album. We’re well-fed, ARMY.
