The morning after the night before is horrible. There’s nothing worse than waking up with a headache, a fuzzy memory, and a lingering guilty feeling for doing something you can’t quite . You grab your phone, flick through your messages and… oh no. Oh no! Yup, that’s right, you got wasted and told the entire world that the President of the United States is a pedophile.
It seems the party has finally ended for Elon Musk, and with sobriety comes consequences. Last week, the ketamine-addled, nazi-saluting richest man in the world dominated headlines with his bizarre pronouncements against one-time best bud Donald Trump. He described his ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ as an abomination, said he plays a big role in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, and even threatened to withdraw SpaceX’s cooperation with the government.
In a bizarre twist, Trump kept his cool and treated Musk with condescending sympathy, simply saying, “The poor guy’s got a problem“. Well, now he has several. Musk has now belatedly realized this, posting a stark and sober message that says he regrets saying Trump was wrapped up in Epstein’s crimes:
I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.

The ONE man he shouldn’t insult
Musk has doubtless spent the last few days being told just how badly he’s screwed up. As the richest man in the world, he can afford to insult and mock almost everybody he wants, but not Trump, who’s one of the few men with genuine power over him.
As was no doubt pointed out to him, Trump is responsible for Tesla continuing to receive government EV credits, which have so far added $8 billion to Tesla’s revenue. Their removal, which can be done at Trump’s whim, would make his company far less profitable overnight.
Beyond that, Musk must also have realized that the currently emboldened Trump can get away with with whatever he wants. As Steve Bannon hinted, Trump could simply seize SpaceX on the basis it’s a key part of the defense infrastructure. Heck, if Trump really wanted he could just seize Musk’s assets and deport him from the country.
Yes, that would be illegal, but if you’ve been paying attention over the last few months, the whole “it’s against the law!” argument doesn’t bother the Oval Office. Trump is notorious for holding a grudge and it’s clear that White House higher-ups despise him. Consequences are coming for Musk, and he’s starting to realize just how deep a hole he’s dug himself into.
