Marvel Comics writer Brian Michael Bendis, former editor-in-chief Joe Quesada, publisher Dan Buckley and Marvel Entertainment president Alan Fine all stood between the filmmakers and studio chief Kevin Feige, who then had to report to Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter.
