King Charles casts aside Prince Harry after he erases U.K.’s ultimate rebellion against Donald Trump

Harry does "not care."

To say that King Charles in the first place. And this time, he does not care what he messes up with his words.

His father, after announcing that he can’t (or won’t) do anything to help his son, is silently observing Harry’s multiple “outbursts.” As pointed out by royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, the Sussexes’ “brand does have pull” and Harry’s “monumental hissy fit,” as per The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English – thus managed to supremely overshadow the announcement that the King and Queen’s are going to embark on a historic visit to Canada, where he will open Parliament, and reduced this prominent moment to a “footnote.”

Not only is Charles the first monarch to do so in nearly 70 years, the visit, as emphasized by Prime Minister Mark Carney, would serve as a powerful affirmation of Canada’s sovereignty and constitutional identity at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump has made controversial and frankly insulting remarks suggesting the nation should become the 51st U.S. state.

But letting his son win wouldn’t be a good look for the king, and hence, to counter and respond to the apparent disrespect, Charles chose to project solidarity instead of losing his temper like Harry. So, he made sure the “royal family symbolized national unity as they did in 1945” during the VE Day celebrations, which in turn “totally sidelined” Harry’s controversial statements against his father and the Royals, as per Fitzwilliam.

“Some thought it [Harry’s interview] might overshadow a week in which VE Day 80 would be celebrated and it certainly seemed as though Harry, who seemed angry, would not care if it did.

The Sussexes have never abided by the royal rule of not overshadowing the activities of other royals. They simply don’t care.”

The Royal expert further underlined what many have already guessed – Harry had already burned bridges with his book, Spare, and his Oprah interview. While it devastated him to know that his Royal family was involved in deciding whether he, Meghan Markle, and their kids should get security, he just made the chances of reuniting with Charles even bleaker as his new slights against the Royals can be “forgiven,” but never forgotten.
